Do you like a bit of fun? outdoors? with young people?
Our ever-expanding Scout Group now has over 100 children, and by the Autumn we will have to cater for over 40 10-14 year olds!
YOUR HELP is therefore needed!
We are desperately looking for adults to come along and help, particularly with 10-14 age-group (Scouts).
Can you spare some time to help, whether weekly, monthly or just termly?
All it takes is a phone call/email and a Disclosure & Barring check..

So we've concluded our annual census and the results are in. Scouting in Malling is continuing to grow!
We've had a 4.2% membership increase in our youth membership, taking our total youth numbers to 1067. Over a 1000 young people get to experience Scouting in Malling every week, and that is just brilliant!
Well done to all our volunteers and leaders who provide the opportunity for young people to experience everyday adventure. It really couldn't be done without you!
New District Commissioner

A message from Elaine:
I am very pleased to tell you that the search for a new District Commissioner has been concluded and that Craig Worcester has been appointed (subject to county AAC approval) to take on the role as my successor from 1st January 2017. I am delighted with Craig's appointment and I am sure that many of you will know Craig from his role on the District Scout Team, and as a member of the District Executive CommitteeDuring the rest of December, Craig and I will be working on a handover and I am sure that you will give Craig your full support in the New Year as he settles into the role.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the support you have given me over the past six years - it has been a real privilege to be your District Commissioner and I have particularly enjoyed being able to visit you all and meet so many inspiring young people in your sections when you have made me so welcome.
